About Wood Word

In Wood Word you make short words from the letters of a bigger one and place them into the grids at the top of the screen. Each word has its own slot, and the last word of a level ends with a nice finale.

Brocco, our broccoli mascot, and his friend Carroty the carrot keep you company. They cheer you on, help with hints on tough levels and share facts about words.

How to play

  1. Make words from the letters of the big word at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Each correct word fills its own grid. The grid length tells you how many letters the word has.
  3. Tap a found word to see its meaning and a fun fact about it.
  4. Find a third of the words for one star, two thirds for two, all of them for three. One star is enough to move on.
  5. If the last word just will not come, the light bulb reveals a letter.

Game modes

Story

300 levels split into issues of 10. Stars in an issue earn rewards, and the trickiest levels are marked as hard.

Daily challenge

One special level every day that raises your IQ score.

Text Twist

300 levels where you swipe across a circle of letters. Found a word that is not on the board? It counts as a bonus word.

Trainword

Rearrange letter cards in a row. Any word of three letters or more scores points, and longer words score much more. Reach the target in a limited number of moves.
